Goodbye to our friend – Stephen Sutton

Stephen was my daughter High School friend. During last year in the High School Stephen told my daughter that he was suffering from bowel cancer.  Stephen suffering from cancer but he still managed to complete his “A” level exam with flying colors. During his last year in the “A” level Stephen wrote a bucket list in facebook  to raise £10,000 for the teenage awareness of cancer charity.

Stephen has cancer but cancer didn’t have him. During the last 2 years he had managed to raised more than 1 million pounds for the teenage awareness cancer charity. Stephen spent his times in fund raising and meet his target goal in his bucket lists. This young man inspired lot of teenagers with his spirit of joys and happiness. He didn’t moan of his suffering from pain but reach out the world with his fund raising around the world.

During his last few weeks in the hospital, lot of celebrities help Stephen with his fund raising with different medias and the fund raising raise to 4 million pounds and the amount have been keep raising every hours.  Stephen had died at the age of 19 but he want all his friends to have joys in their life. We missed a hero and heaven gain an angel.

At the vigil for Stephen Sutton in Lichfield Cathedral so that all the friends can pay their respect to him. It was an honor for Stephen and Stephen’s body will be borne to Lichfield from Burntwood on a horse-drawn carriage. accompanied by his family. We missed you, Stephen and you will alway in our hearts.

In our journey of life we plan for our future and achieve our goal but normally, fate  will twist and turn our life upside down. Journey of brightness will turn into darkness. It is always a saying that “it is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.”
