We went to the hospital to visit my mother-in-law and she was doing fine looking forward to go home soon. My mother-in-law told us to go outing and don’t waste time staying around at the hospital beside her. So we went for out lunch and visit to Victoria Peak, 太平山.  We have to change several MTR tram to reach the Peak Station and to our shock there was a long queue which we had to queue for 3 hours in the hot weather.

The summit is occupied by a radio telecommunications facility and is closed to the public. However, the surrounding area of public parks and high-value residential land is the area that is normally meant by the name The Peak. It is a major tourist attraction that offers views over Central, Victoria Harbour, Lamma Island and the surrounding islands.

The photos were taken by iphone as I did not bought my camera with me  due to we didn’t plan to visit this place till the last minute choice. I not keen on this place due to there were so many tourists that we have to squeeze into any available space we can get to take a photo. There are shopping malls in the tram centre but it is very expensive to dine at here.

I give this place a scored of 5 out of 10 stars.

    1. Yea, It is beautiful at the top of the mountains to view the cities but unfortunately the crowds kills all the fun. It is sunset when we were up there.
