Golden Rule of landscape photography

Image

I have learn from the great photographers that if you want your photos to get the result of top pros then there is a golden rule for the landscape photography to shoot only two times a day. To shoot at Dawn and Dusk as it is the only times of the day when you get soft, warm light and soft shadows that give professional quality lighting for the landscape.

i try my best to take photos around these two times of the days whenever I can.I find that the golden rule is a good advice to take on board as it does improve my skill. Try this golden rule for landscape photography and see whether it help or not.Image

Exercise – walking

I love walking. With my school work loads I have lesser time for this leisure walk.  I find walking is soothing, relaxing and it is also form of exercise for me to slim down.  I bring my camera with me for my walk as it act as a companion to me that I  not alone and can use it to snap anything I fancy. I live in a small village with little hills behind my house and rolling fields sketching miles and miles. Let’s go hiking together my friends…

I went to Tamworth to take some photos of the sunset. In Tamworth there are lot of rapeseed fields so we took some photos but unfortunately they are too dark and the photos are unless to me.  I decided to go for my further studies to understand how the professional photographers work with their photos.  I didn’t go for the photography course which I intended to, instead I go for Foundation of Arts and Designs. During these few months, I learn most of the photographers process their photos to give and entirely different image to their photos to enhance  and beautify them.

The above are two photos – one is the original photo that I took and another which I have process it with Nik program. Give me your comments on these and which one you like. I am still learning and hopefully I will get better in processing photos.
